Engaging Audiences With DOOH Ads in Prime Locations

Octopus Energy, a global energy provider, partnered with StackAdapt to run a digital out-of-home (DOOH) campaign in six Spanish cities. The goal was to raise brand awareness, and the campaign exceeded expectations, delivering 3 million impressions within budget, achieving a click-through rate (CTR) of up to 3.3%, and generating over 1,000 conversions.

DOOH Strategy Boosts Traffic, Reach, and Engagement

StackAdapt worked with its DOOH partners to create a strategic plan that placed Octopus Energy’s ads across high-traffic shopping centres, prominent streets, and busy train stations. Here are some of the tactics they used:

Delivered the campaign to over 700 screens in prominent locations, such as shopping centres and transport hubs.

Multi-Channel Strategy

Used display and native ads to retarget audiences who have been exposed to DOOH ads.

Creative Studio

Leveraged the StackAdapt Creative Studio team to craft HTML5 interactive display ads from original creatives developed for DOOH and native. 

Octopus Energy Achieves 3 Million Impressions With DOOH Retargeting

StackAdapt’s DOOH retargeting solution, powered by Adsquare, effectively tracked device IDs of individuals exposed to the DOOH ads, enabling successful retargeting through display and native ads, achieving a strong 1.34% CTR. Audiences across all channels saw a strong CTR, reaching as high as 3.3%.
